EAM to Launch Tag the Craft Tracking Solution at AIX, Hamburg

Miami, Florida – EAM RFID Solutions, the technology division of EAM Worldwide, will officially present its comprehensive aircraft asset tracking solution, Tag the Craft™, at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg on April 5 – 7, 2011. It is an innovative, scalable solution that allows a client to specifically choose which assets to tag and track from flashlights, seat covers and oxygen generators and bottles to carts, seat belts and more.

“After launching our exclusive RFID application in our safety and survival equipment earlier in 2010, we received an enormous response from our clients – existing and new,” stated Miriam Oroshnik, CEO and President of EAM Worldwide. “Receiving the patent now further solidifies the importance of this technology in our industry.”

“Tag the Craft is an advanced, automated tracking solution that effectively replaces the inefficient, manual inspection of aircraft equipment which saves valuable time and money,” stated, Eloy Leal, Director of Operations & Engineering. “In just minutes, the system immediately identifies if any tagged asset is missing, been tampered with, has expired or is due for regular maintenance.”

“EAM RFID Solutions and its applications complement our superior life vest and rafts business perfectly,” stated Eloy Leal, Director of Engineering and Operations. “By listening to our clients and their specific needs, we were able to marry the power of RFID’s monitoring capabilities to the required safety guidelines of survival equipment in the aviation and marine industries.”

EAM takes care of all the RFID needs from an in-depth consultation of tracking needs to the seamless implementation and integration of customized hardware and software systems. The RFID Team also provides comprehensive training to all users and remains available for any necessary maintenance and support. Whether working with an existing inventory management system or developing a standalone program, EAM RFID Solutions can build unique platform to optimize operations efficiency and create significant return on investment. Live demonstrations of the RFID technology will be given at EAM’s booth 7D60 located in Hall B7.

EAM RFID Solutions has revolutionized the safety and survival equipment industry by incorporating the asset tracking and inventory control benefits of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. This new application will be already incorporated into a variety of EAM products namely life vests for immediate use by our clients. In addition, EAM RFID Solutions can work directly with its aviation clients to implement the system into any traceable asset including but not limited to flashlights, seatbelts, seat covers, oxygen generators and bottles, crash axes, fire extinguishers and megaphones. Whether for inventory management control, anti-theft measures or confirmation of necessary routine maintenance and inspection, EAM RFID Solutions can work with any client in Aviation or any other industry, to help them optimize their internal operations and efficiencies.
